From Butcher Block to Beer Tap – The Pop’s Legacy
Here at Pop’s Taphouse, we’ve been serving this community since 2001, but our roots go even deeper. Pop's is more than a pub. It’s become a gathering place. A second home. A slice of Lethbridge culture, served with cold drinks and comfort food. This city is built on connection — and we believe in that. Our promise: You’ll find a seat at our table, a place to watch the game, and good people who remember your name.

COMMITTED TO LETHBRIDGE FOR OVER 24 YEARS
Before there was a pub, there was Alberta Meat & Grocery — a neighborhood staple run by Bobby C., better known around Lethbridge as "Pop." Bobby was the kind of guy who knew your name, your usual order, and probably your dad’s too. His shop wasn’t just where you grabbed a steak — it was where community happened. In 2001, Bobby made a bold move. With his son Scott by his side, he downsized the family grocery business and transformed a portion of it into something new: a place for people to gather, eat well, and raise a glass. That’s when Pop’s North was born — a true family-run pub rooted in the same values that made Alberta Meat & Grocery a local legend: quality, community, and heart. Since then, Pop’s has grown — but the vibe hasn’t changed. Whether you're sitting at the bar, catching the game, or coming in for wing night, you’re part of a story that started with one man, a butcher's apron, and a deep love for his city.
From Bobby to Scott, and now to you — welcome to Pop’s.
